A few things to know.
How does the free trial work?
Your 14 day trial starts when you first launch Goodtakes. All features work during the trial. When it ends, you can still work on projects, but exporting videos and clips requires a valid licence.
How do I activate my licence?
After purchase, enter your licence key in Settings › App › Licence in Goodtakes. Each licence supports up to 3 Macs at once. Deactivate a Mac in the app to free its place.
What happens if I cancel a subscription?
Your licence stays valid through the period you have paid for. Monthly and yearly licences include a 7 day grace period. Once the licence is no longer valid, exports require a new or renewed licence.
Does a lifetime licence expire?
No. A lifetime licence is paid once and stays valid permanently. It supports up to 3 Macs, just like the subscription plans.
Can I work offline?
The app checks its saved licence locally. When online, it periodically refreshes that licence. Subscriptions can work offline until the saved licence expires; lifetime licences have no expiry date. Initial activation needs an internet connection.
